Electronic Fuel Managment System

This system replaces the Carburetor with an electronic SOLONOID VALVE ( FUEL INJECTOR) which performs the primary function of carburetor as mixing fuel with air plus enables us to control precisely the richness or quality of mixture .

The CONTROLLER analyses the state of the engine with help of different sensors like throttle position sensor, engine body temperature, rpm, cam position, lambda (EGO- exhaust gas oxygen) sensor . It takes the inputs from all these sensors to make a decision referring to the algorithms and then sends control signals to the fuel injector and ignition system.

The controller also plays a dual role of controlling the firing angle of the ignition to get optimum power output and maximum engine efficiency .

  2. High engine efficiency translated through low fuel consumption & reduced emissions.

STATUS OF OUR PROJECT :

We have come to a stage where we have been successful in developing a working , low cost , prototype of the above system .Specifications would change & are tailor-made to suit the engine. We are open to collaborations with engine / vehicle manufacturers to commercialise this project.
